MSTC has an agency agreement with First National Title Insurance Company, which has an A Prime-Unsurpassed rating. We have adopted and adhere to the standards as promulgated by the American Land Title Association's "Best Practices" which provide our customers with the highest safeguards in the industry. Our escrow accounts are reconciled daily by an outside accounting firm to detect any irregularities which also provides our underwriters with monthly three-way reconciliations. Our bank conducts daily "positive pay" reviews to match each check issued with those it presents for payment to identify possible fraudulent transactions.
To protect further against such transactions, MSTC has Errors and Omissions Coverage to insure against losses and computer/cyber crime coverage to protect against losses from computer hacking or fraudulent wire transfers.
